Weaknesses
The accident that caused Doctor Everstone's condition also makes it impossible for her to live in temperatures above freezing. Only a few degrees above 0 Celsius will result in her getting heat exhaustion and much hotter than that would literally start cooking her. As a result, she has to wear her thermal suit for protection at all times when ever she is outside of any environment suited to her needs. The suit is designed to keep her cold temperatures internal, even though it will actually let some of her cold escape due to how much of it she produces.
The suit's uses are limited, however, and in cases of extreme heat she has special refrigeration canisters that are designed to be injected into the suit to help regulate and keep her cool. This measure is only temporary, and if she does not vacate herself from an extreme heat situation, she will succumb to heat exhaustion and most likely die within minutes.
Fast Facts
- Standing near Hypothermia is like standing in the middle of a freezer with the door open. She reduces thermal temperatures by a lot, which is beyond her control due to her powers. The suit maintains this and prevents the extreme levels of cold she generates from getting out but it is at the limit of this control.
- Her voice sounds very synthetic when she talks. Think Killer Frost from Injustice.
- Her body, due to the side effect of the cryogenics going on, ages very slowly. As a result, she doesn't need to eat often and rarely needs sleep. This played havoc with her for several months until she adjusted, naturally.
- Despite her cold appearance, she is not cold in personality. She actually tries to enjoy herself, make a joke, or have some fun, though she understands the levels of fun she can have are limited due to her condition.
