History
Kassidy is a typical American teenager; mischievous, spunky, sarcastic, boy-crazy, and too smart for her own good.
Her parents, both living, spend ninty percent of the year traveling abroad, leaving Kass at home to take care of herself and the family penthouse. She's not overtly rebellious but intensely curious to the point of breaking social norms about sharing personal information, respecting personal space, and basic laws about trespassing. Naturally, her curiosity combined with her emerging mutant powers has gotten her into trouble on more than one occassion. Her background prior to joining X-Pelled Academy is a bit sketchy, and not something Kass likes to talk about openly. Suffice it to say that break-in at Westside High was just for fun.
Currently
Currently Kassidy is a student at the X-pelled Mutant Academy. She is learning to control her powers, or more accurately, control her impulsive nature. Still, her motto is "It's easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission." She recently started a student group for Community Service projects. Their first successful mission was to bust fellow student, Bubba Joe Tolliver, out of prison.
Her teen social world is a jumble of friendships, adventures, love interests and text messages. Recently she found out her boyfriend was having an odd sort of relationship with another student: a girl with the ability to enter his mind. Distrustful of the intimate bound the two share, she has ended her relationship with Derrick. Her friend, Jeremy Imenex, has been her greatest support during this transition. Love seems to be blossoming between the two.
