History

Founding of Yot-krna

With the rein of Henri Moreau now over, the remaining manimals of Noble's Isle soon set off to find a new place to call home. Set adrift for the main land, they soon arrive to America of present day Yakutat Bay. Traveling more inland to the north for days with little food and water they can carry in search of a secluded location where they can live in peace. One manimal, a bear like Manimal of the given name, Gwoli, would show his devotion to find a home for his fellow manimals. Once finding a reasonable area surrounded by mountains, forests, and rivers where no human can reach by foot, they set up camp where they soon build their new home, giving it the name of Yot-krna. Sadly before the completion of the settlement, Gwoli dies of old age and is viewed as a hero to the citizens of Yot-krna.

The Na'ullz Family

As time passed and the settlement growing, a age of reasoning soon comes upon the citizens of Yot-krna. The manimals needs a new leader. One manimal steps forward, another bear named Huslu would convince the tribe he is reliable figure to lead the people. Over the years he would keep to his word, protecting the people of Yot-krna. As the people of Yot-krna were happy and in peace, Huslu would find himself feeling alone to help lead the tribe. At this time he befriended another bear, her name would be Nita. Over time they fell in love and bare their first child, Uzumati, starting the Na'ullz family. Two years later they will have another child, naming him Kuruk.

Brotherly Love

As the years go by, Yot-krna would grow more to where they established a sister tribe. The Na'ullz family would seem just as happy as their fellow tribes people, but a dispute between the brothers would arise. Uzumati being the older brother would constantly pick on his younger brother Kuruk and get him in trouble for his mischief. As they grew up, Kuruk becomes more assertive to his brother leading to a rivalry. Once they were in their teen years, their father Huslu would search for a successor when the boys were old enough to lead the tribe someday. He picked Kuruk over Uzumati for the fact of how truthful and honest Kuruk is and feared Uzumati would end up corrupting the pureness of the tribe. Uzumati would be furious over Kuruk where the brothers would constantly duel one another only to have Kuruk beating his brother every time. Uzumati would go into a depression seeing how bad of a influence he has become to the people of Yot-krna. Though this changes when he meets his first mate, Osha and bare a child together, Honon. This gives Uzumati a chance to put his differences aside and care for his brother and his family.

The Attack On Yot-krna

With the horrors of their past nothing more than wise tales the elder tell their grandchildren, a new threat will come. The sky above the lands would start to go dark as the elders of the tribes feel the spirits around them uneasy. A mysterious light flies through the skies crashing on the other side of the mountain of Yot-krna. Kuruk and Uzumati would bring a few scouts and hunters to investigate the ball of fire. Once there, they find a strange metallic looking ship crashed into the mountain side. Among the crash site, alien bug like beings start to gather of their remaining numbers and start to march towards the settlement. Kuruk orders the others to retreat and warn the manimals to take shelter and bring up arms. Only using primitive weapons to fend off the alien attack, the villagers of Yot-krna were barely a match to fight. Kuruk fights for his life to keep his people safe but is knocked out when a explosion occurs around him, knocking him into a burning hut as it collapsed under him and knocks him conscious. The distant sounds of screams of horror is the last thing Kuruk would hear.

Aftermath

Waking up hours later to witness the carnage that was bestowed upon his village and people, many have died to protect the only home they had left. Among the dead was Kuruk's parents, sister-in-law, and nephew, though Uzumati would have gone missing. Kuruk now being the supposingly last member of the Na'ullz family would become the new chief before his first act would to give the dead a proper burial. Salvaging anything from the destroyed village, Kuruk would lead his people south closer to human settlements, where he believes the last of his people would need more than the protection of Kuruk. Finding a man made road leading further south to the township of Whitehorse, Canada of the Yukon territory, the tribes people are greeted by the townspeople, seeing the grimness and lack of strength from their long travels. Kuruk glad to see that a new place for his people to live, felt that he should continue on with his journey...alone. He bids farewell to his tribes people and wish the best to the townsfolk to care for his people as Kuruk continues on with his travels.

Kuruk the Wanderer

As Kuruk continued his travels south, he wonders what would the world be like, a world he never knew other than the areas around the village he grew up in. Travelling the back roads to nowhere, many who pass by would stop and greet the large manimal, amazed to see such a individual. This has Kuruk befriend a human by the name of 'String Al' due to his expertise in playing the guitar. Kuruk would be amazed at Al's skills before he starts trying it for himself. Wasn't long until Kuruk had a natural talent to play the guitar as he travels with Al across the territories of North America. During this time, Kuruk also learns of the hero city of Millennium City, and the recent Qularr attack, believing the same alien creatures who attack his village are the same ones. Kuruk would part ways with Al as he would travel to the city, while promising that he'll keep on playing the guitar to honor the first friend Kuruk ever had.

The Big City

Kuruk comes to Millennium City to find it in ruins from the recent attack by the Qularr. Being an outsider, Kuruk offers his assistance in cleaning up the city. This kindness would soon find the people of the city to this large manimal and the troubled events that led him to the city. This act of kindness would eventually give Kuruk a chance to start a new life in the city, offering him a job as a construction worker and a home to live in. Kuruk accepts to stay in the city but only after he filled his sense of adventure. He shortly leaves Millennium City to travel across the world to see its sites to see a world he never knew existed. Travelling for months mostly by foot until returning to Millennium where he starts his new life.

Appearance

Standing over eight feet tall, this bear manimal towers over most that he knows. Having a thick white fur coat, most don't realize the muscular figure that is under it. His hazel eyes with a minor scar over his right eye caused from one of Uzumati's duals will give you the sense of careness and adventure within. Kuruks hands and feet would make it difficult for one to wear gloves and shoes due to his bear like claws, though has managed to find a pair of shoes to fit his size fourty three feet.

Personality

Kuruk is mostly found as a quiet individual. Not speaking much to those he doesn't know but once getting to know you, he shows his kindness to make anyone around him feel comfortable. Kuruks is always the helping person. When ever hearing someone in need, he'll step forward to offer his assistance, especially when it comes to building due to his occupation as a construction worker. Kuruk's low voice and his common use of "Howdy" and "Much Obliged" would otherwise think Kuruk is a cowboy of some sorts.

Abilities

Only one ability Kuruk possess and that is super strength. Due to his manimal traits, his strength was passed down from his father and mother with that of a bear which he is able to lift objects as large and heavy as semi trucks. Due to his size and muscle mass, Kuruk can use his weight and strength to break through walls and objects. Much of his fighting revolves around The Hulk, using his powerful punch and kicks and using objects he can get his hands on to use as weapons. Adding to his attacks is his sharp claws, able to cut even through most metals. Due to his stature, Kuruk is a melee fighter so would have difficulties when facing ranged foes unless he is able to get his hands on a object he can lift and throw it towards his foes. Being a manimal, he can recover from wounds quicker than a regular human would. This also helps with his heavy muscle mass that he can withstand most wounds, ranging from cuts, low caliber projectiles, and explosions.

Equipment

Kuruk doesn't use any means of weapons besides his own body and what ever he can grab. Kuruk mainly wears a shoulder vest armor when facing opponents that would be no problem to deal with, but at times when facing stronger foes, he has a full chest plate armor ready for use.

Nemesis

Uzumati

Kuruk's brother. After the attack on their village, the whereabouts of Uzumati would be unknown until of recent when he made an appearance in Millennium. A rivalry returns when Uzumati blames Kuruk that he abandoned his people and was the cause of the death of their parents and Uzumati's wife and son. A misunderstanding that would continue on to this day where Uzumati would otherwise want his brother dead.
