Origin
Belattis, the Xichung home-world is a frozen wasteland of ice and snow, on which plants will only grow in a thin temperate region around the equator.
This has led the Xichung to adopt a largely nomadic warrior culture, the only major cities and farmland existing upon the fertile temperate region.
Their government routinely assassinates members of society that are deemed to be dangerous to ensure the safety of others. It is seen as their responsibility to do so. That aside they are a highly militaristic society with a culture strongly suited to warfare.
They are capable of utilizing both advanced technology and magic, and their ability to produce both is greater than that of humans by about two times the standard. However they lack any and all ability to otherwise develop superpowers. This is made up for largely by that and the extreme resistive properties of their flesh, muscles, and bones, which take on a pale palour, the flesh often being described as silk like in texture and feel. As well as the development of basic telepathic abilities.
Vox Vasajshi was raised in a military family, in the primary capital of Vassos, the smallest of the Xichung nations. Forcefully drafted into service, he was designated as an imperial lancer, a title reserved for only the finest of spearmen among the infantry divisions; Having survived many battle excursions and war dances through the frigid tundras of Belattis.
After participating in the Lunar Games for over a year, besting gladiators such as Ironclad several times. Lancer (as he came to be called) devoted his life to crushing those that would abuse power and came to earth after the Qularr invasion seeing opportunity to pursue his ideals.
Gear
Qeelarin Wokin Ko(The Spear that Pierces Storms)- A marvel of technological craftmanship, metal forging, and mystic enchantments, every Belattin Ko is personally crafted and customized by master smiths and enchanters for the strongest of the Imperial Lancers. It is considered a great honor to receive one and each is unique in its own way. Qeelarin Wokin is the Ko crafted for Vox, and can take many forms depending on the situation at hand, it is versatile and lightweight enough to be swung and maneuvered with ease, yet sturdy enough to survive the crushing vacuum of space, and even solar flares. The enchantments on the staff and blade ensure that the metal never warps or dulls, and its namesake as the storm piercer was given towards its nature. A swift spear that pierces even the most daunting of obstacles.
Imperial Lancer Armor- The finest armor ever constructed by the smiths of Belattis, it is lightweight and flexible, allowing the spearmen ease and freedom of movement without compromising protection. Lancer armor can take small arms fire with no damage and heavy caliber rounds with light denting and warping.
