Miss Servo has no City of Heroes/Villains counterpart and is uniquely a Champions Online character played by @fluffysheepy. Miss Servo is a gadgeteering/powersuit superheroine and shares general themes with such well-known superheroes as Ironman and Champion's own Defender.

History

Miss Servo as a superheroine first appeared in the newspapers of the United States in early September 1997 as the new face of classical superheroines. Sporting impressive "new clockwork" technology, an active harness with additional mechanical limbs and a series of cybernetic implants she began to set a standard for a new generation of gadgeteers. Miss Servo however had another name, one she did nothing to hide.

Miss Servo was also known as Amanda Clock, heiress to Clockwork Enterprises. A multinational corperation based in the United States that traded in anything from raw materials to research and development projects. The company stocks were worth in the billions and have since only grown. Many were rightly then drawn to ask the new superheroine why she took to crime fighting? Although only ever answered cryptically the truth was a brutal one that the heroine herself was still comming to terms with.

In the early months of the previous year a villain had began terrorising the streets of Manhatten Island. The beast, large and green, resembled contemporary Grond (although certainly not as large) and bore a great deal of strength. Seemingly impervious to standard weaponry and even metahuman powers, The Great Gremlin as he became known, found perverse joy in breaking anything that was before him...

The Breaking of a Woman and the Birth of a Superheroine

A massive battle had broken out amongst a series of ruined city blocks with The Great Gremlin. A superteam of resident superheroes now sought to end the villain's reign of terror permanently. However the creature was proving more difficult to put down than anyone had initially anticipated. The hulking monster had already killed the magical heroine Lady Butterfly and severely wounded Punk Princess and Democratic Fist.

It was Democratic Fist however, with her metahuman super-strength, that fought the hardest against the villain and it was during the final moments of the battle that Amanda Clock's life was to change drastically. Trapped in her car, hiding from the battle, The Great Gremlin lifted her vehicle and launched it at an unprotected shopfront. Democratic Fist flew to catch the car but The Great Gremlin used this as his chance to attack her directly. Amanda Clock's car careened through the air, clipping the heroine dangerously in the side as the villain grabbed her, beginning to pummel her senseless.

Amanda Clock was never to see how the fight ended, exactly, for she was caught in the explosion of her car meeting the store front.

Miss Servo at your Service!

Amanda Clock awoke to find herself missing an arm and a leg and with a shattered spine. Paralysed from the neck down the wealthy heiress was predicted to live the rest of her life in a wheelchair with constant need for an attendant. Such a fate was not good enough for her and the inventress put her genius to work. Using her computers and several attendants she began to design a revolutionary new cybernetic technology. She would call this new technology "New Clockwork" and it was planned to run entirely on a system of perpetual motion. Although thought impossible Amanda achieved this goal and created the first version of the Servo-Harness. A large metal harness that, when interfaced directly with her spine, could re-connect her severed spinal cord and allow her full movement once more.

But she wouldn't stop there. The Servo-Harness soon found itself subject to enhancement after enhancement until, finally with costume and gadgets, Miss Servo emerged from the expansive garage at the Clock estate. Swinging away on a grapelling hook Miss Servo was born to fight crime!

Present Day

Recent years saw the boost in popularity of Miss Servo generating merchandise and the heroine even becomming a mascot for her corperation, Clockwork Enterprises. With action figures, comic books and a dedicated fanclub Miss Servo is a popular heroine in and outside of the United States. Although she doesn't hold the same level of popularity as the Champions she is well known and often requested to fight beside UNTIL and PRIMUS alike. Miss Servo is currently based in Millenium City

Personality

Miss Servo is often frowned upon by other superheroes because of her greedy nature, sell-out public profile and tendancy to over-enjoy the lime-light. Exceptionally intelligent she has came close on more than one occasion to claiming the title of "World's Smartest Woman" and hotly debates that she does indeed hold the title. Arrogance, selfishness and a bratish personality go hand in hand with an innocent sweetness, fruity eccentricity and ultimately kind heart. Miss Servo is human and heavily flawed, but she strives to be a superhero to be remembered.

Powers and Abilities

Miss Servo is purely a human being and has no metahuman superpowers. However she makes up for this with an exceptional intelligence and acute knowledge of mechanics which she has used to construct many devices and weapons to help her in combat against her adversaries. Such devices include a multi-purpose raygun that can incinerate, shrink or infect a target with corrosive nanites. Multi-functional robotic helpers that can aid her in repairs, movement of debris and in combat with on-board weaponry. Her Servo-Harness is of course her greatest creation and comes with heavy armour and multiple weapons built into its chasis.

Affiliations

Miss Servo has worked alongside both UNTIL and PRIMUS extensively. However she remains largely to this day a "solo hero".

Despite this Miss Servo has been known to work alongside and for at least two superheroic/metahuman groups. The first, of which she co-founded, was The Prometheus Group. A company dedicated to the aquisition and repurposing of villain-constructed technology, artifacts and magical objects. In her time with Prometheus she worked alongside Inquest most extensively and was a large funder of the company. However this relationship ended when the Prometheus Group officially closed its doors due to an unsuccessful reception by other dedicated funding sources such as the U.S Government.

Miss Servo had been seen working alongside the mercenary group, the Blood Hounds and even been seen wearing their colours. Whether or not she considered herself an official Blood Hound is debatable for the heroine quite happily told anyone that she is a registered "cape" and is very fond of her superheroic exploits.

Miss Servo was also, until recently, affiliated heavily as mascot and heroic representative of multi-national corperation Clockwork Enterprises. However, as Amanda Clock, she has since retired from her life as a business woman to purely pursue her life as a superheroine and mechanic.

Currently Miss Servo appears to work solo.

Implications...

Interestingly enough while Miss Servo extols a wonderously superheroic image her involvement with the Prometheus Group and the Blood Hounds both have garnered her some, perhaps justified, negative press. It seems that in some cases Miss Servo for all her bubbling outer image harbours perhaps more greedy motivations... Whatever the case Miss Servo is certainly not the shining example of superheroism she may at first appear to be.
