The Vrezoth Race

Deep within a distant galaxy there exists a large gas giant known as Kozthrek which is home to a race of aggressive beings known as the Vrezoth. These beings are hulking humanoid beasts capable of destroying nearly anything destructable that they come across. The Vrezoth species have never had any mutated or superpowered appear among their kind, as they seem to be quite resilient to developing such powers. This is not an issue for the Vrezoth people anyhow since they possess unfathomable physical strength. They are capable of tearing through almost anything that they can see with their eyes, and have even been known to break through magical and psionic barriers/shields with brute force alone. Because of this, many space pirates and terrorists seek to employ Vrezoths. This is an issue however, as it is nearly impossible to get on the good side of a Vrezoth. They have a firm belief that their species is superior to all and that they do not need to work with anyone.

Vrezoths are a space-faring civilization, though since they do not seem capable of constructing any kind of battleships, they are mostly seen piloting exploration vessels capable of traveling at great speeds. It is not uncommon to find a few Vrezoths far from home looking for trouble on distant planets.

Mordane's Background

While Vrezoths are hostile and seemingly evil by nature, there is one member of the species that takes it all to a whole new level. Mordane was revered as one of the greatest warriors of the Vrezoth people before his own natural curiousity led him into space in search of entertainment.

It did not take long for Mordane to discover that unleashing chaos upon other species was a very enjoyable activity to his people. As While reveling in the destruction he caused on one planet, he came to the conclusion that he could perhaps make a habit out of causing chaos. It was at this time that he decided to become an interstellar terrorist, going from system to system and causing as much havoc as possible before moving on and causing trouble elsewhere.

The only thing that saved Mordane from being stopped? His raw brute force. Artillery and explosives seemed to do little to him as he would rampage through alien cities tearing down buildings and taking lives. He would loot while causing chaos, allowing him to quickly make a hefty fortune. This allowed him to upgrade his own vessel on the blackmarket to guarantee it would be able to stand up against any pursuers in outer space.

Mordane eventually bit off more than he could chew when he attacked the Hzeel homeworld only to be captured and imprisoned. He would remain in this state for several hundred years before making a daring escape, hijacking a captured spaceship and leaving before the Hzeel could even react. His escape, however, would not end as well as he would hope...

The ship would eventually start to break down and Mordane knew that if he didn't land it somewhere he would undoubtedly be stuck in deep space inside of a dying vessel. This led him to a Earth, which he intended to land on. The entry, however, did not go very smoothly... And Mordane crashed the vessel deep into the Arctic Ocean where he would remain for approximately two hundred years.

Until now.

Despite the above, Mordane currently has no intention to cause trouble on Earth.

Attitude and Personality

Despite being a terrorist who simply likes to cause chaos because it satisfies him, Mordane can be quite philosophical and interesting to talk to. He will often reflect upon the significane of life in the universe, and how irrelevant many worldly matters are in the grand scheme of things. While many look at the small picture, Mordane views life in a much broader scope, often thinking of other planets and races when he is committing acts of terrorism on various worlds.

Mordane also likes to converse with others about mortality and varous aspects of death. He does not do so with a morbid curiousity, but he does it rather to affirm his own existence. Despite how physically strong Mordane is, he does in fact fear dying quite a lot.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Mordane has one simple power, his freakish strength. It is said by those "in the know" on Earth that a Vrezoth has the strength of one hundred human men. He is capable of destroying most materials and metals with strength alone. When he is enraged or focused solely on destruction, he enters a "kill or be killed" state of mind. At this time, he becomes extremely resilient to many forms of psionic and telepathic activity.

It is also worth mentioning that barriers and forcefields created by psionic or telepathic beings can often be smashed through with sheer force alone by Mordane unless the one creating the shield is highly trained.

Close combat and psionic/telepathic combat are not advised when engaging Mordane due to the advantage being his against such opponents. Universally revered telepaths and warriors would however be capable of challenging Mordane quite well.

It has been said that the key to incapacitating a Vrezoth is to pummel them with any form of sorcery, as they have absolutely no form of resistance to magical energies. A well trained magician or sorcerer would be able to drop Mordane like a light.

Sharp weapons are also effective against Mordane. While firearms and basic explosives (grenades, not something extravagant like a large bomb) seem to have little effect on Mordane, any pointy and sharp weapon made from strong metal will be able to penetrate Mordane. One must be a seasoned fighter to do this however, as spilling Mordane's blood is likely to only anger him and make him more violent due to Vrezoths having an extremely high pain threshold.

Mordane is also moderately easy to outsmart. While Vrezoths may have a respectable amount of intelligence, they are not very cunning beings and, in many cases, could even be considered a bit slow in the mind.
