Nin'Gishzida (in-game; Ningishzida) is an original character created in Champions Online. She is a Freeform hero, utilizing mostly skills from the Heavy Weapon and Celestial frameworks. Her appearance is a draconic humanoid baring grey skin with glowing aquamarine stripes. three pairs of horns, a steel-capped tail and digitigrade legs. In the general public, she appears as a short white-haired woman usually dressed in black and grey Gothic Lolita attire.
Biography
Concept
Nin'Gishzida was the guardian of the Celestial Palace and a champion of the Underworld--a trueborn celestial child. One day, in contemplation of the resurgence of metahumans during the nineteenth to twentieth centuries, Nin had decided to visit the mortal world once more in search of knowledge and musings. Her corporeal body took shape after her draconic presence—a dual form that could at will appear to mortals as human—with unfathomable beauty.
Nin'Gishzida had only first encountered Champions during the invasion of Millenium City by the Qularr. It was then that she met Defender at the defense of Champions Headquarters. After the battle, Defender sought her out to propose a place alongside the Champions, only to find she had mysteriously vanished just as soon as she'd come. Driven by her lust for knowledge of these new mortal beings, Nin returned the very next day in the form of a young human woman, and posed to be "superhuman" like the others were.
In her seating among UNTIL's contractor, Nin'Gishzida had witnessed firsthand the corruption that this newfound power caused in the hearts of wicked men. Vindicating their evil ways became her. Along her mission, she fell numerous Psi-kers, condemning their life forces to the nether for celestial judgement. The metahumans were naive, but young in retrospect to the omnipotent machinations of time, and so did Nin make it her mission to guide these Champions with a subtle hand, restoring the balance on Earth as an agent of the Sky King.

Personality
Outwardly Nin'Gishzida is a stoic, relaxed soul with a subtle flair for wisdom and compassion. She is a true philosopher, evident in any number of her idle conversations. However, in times of confrontation, she may not back down; rather, it may take the illusion that she has, and inwardly consorts to approach the situation in different circumstances.
Nin'Gishzida is particularly not fond of demonic and Qliphothic beings, and may actively toy with them as a form of entertainment and retribution. She is indifferent about primal beings and completely uninterested in technological ones. If witnessing something or someone that fell under her domain, she may personally intervene, even with seemingly rude interjections.
Meta
For the purpose of roleplay, Nin'Gishzida's divine identity is assumed to be unknown unless (or until) mentioned in character. As a general rule for Nin'Gishzida, all related conversations and interactions within "RP" zones are in character except where otherwise stated, and thus if her celestial form is exposed within the zone, it may be counted as an in character experience. This may lead to different means of pursuing her identity.
Within the game world, excluding any Social zones, Nin'Gishzida acts as an out-of-character avatar. It's best to ask via Tell first.
For those who keep asking, Nin is not a hermaphrodite and the genderless-ness is a crossplay between the the duplicitous depictions in Sumerian lore and general omnipotence of deities.
