Code Name: Psyanide
Little is known about the assassin known as Psyanide. Outside of her trademark psionic powers and the fact that if they are not killed outright her victims are frequently left broken, and clinically insane. PRIMUS BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) has classified her as a sexual sado-masichist. Those individuals who survive an encounter with her are frequently driven to self harm in search for a mental or emotional release that she has programmed into their minds. While most individuals are left to psychologically broken to provide insight, those who are cognizant describe trying to seek the pleasure they felt through her as she tortured them. This indicates that while inflicting harm on her victims she also creates a psionic feedback loop, forcing them to experience her pleasure at their pain until they can no longer differentiate between the two. Subject has also demonstrated mild to moderate telekinetic abilities, as evidenced by her ability to fly, a low grade physical force field she can erect about herself, and the physical interactions her 'psi-blades' seem to be able to inflict on people and objects around her. These abilities pale in comparison to her telepathic and empathic powers.
The first documented case regarding Psyanide was in Belize, 2002. Norman Cowan, CEO of Corpotech Inc. was assassinated. Witnesses stated they had seen a woman clad in black leather, with a glowing pink or purple energy field around her flying out the window of Cowan's penthouse suite at his hotel. Cowan's body when found was covered in dozens of lacerations and punctures, many of which seemed self inflicted. An autopsy revealed high levels of fight or flight chemicals in his brain, along with trauma indicative of a severe psionic trauma.
Since then there have been over two dozen assassinations and murders either attributed directly to, or suspected to have been committed by Psyanide. However, outside of that first case, no witnesses have ever been found. It is suspected that she has grown strong enough in her abilities to warp the perceptions and memories of those who might come across her in the act, or if unable to do so she will eliminate them as well. Subject is to be considered EXTREMELY dangerous. Any agents or heroes without Alpha Level psionic intrusion defense training should not engage.

Vivica St.Michaels always knew she was different. Even from the other children of the rich, affluent families her own hobnobbed with. Growing up, she learned early on that the laws and rules of society worked differently for people of her socio-economic class. Law which would have put lesser people behind bars for the rest of their lives resulted in a wrist slap for those of her rank. Rules and regulations were bent. Legislation warped. She knew that she was better than others. Her budding psionic abilities only served to cement that certainty. With the ability to peek into the minds of her peers, influence the decisions of adults, and manipulate people to get what she wanted she quickly lost all morality and empathy for her fellow people. At the age of 12, while bored, she 'nudged' a depressed classmate to begin cutting herself. Feeding off of the vicarious pain, despair, and relief she siphoned through her classmate, Vivica had her first sexual awakening. From that day forward she would constantly seek to find the dark, recessed nooks and crannies of people's minds. Pushing them to give in to their darkest desires and fears while feeding off the heady emotions. By 14 she had pushed the first classmate she'd influenced into a gruesome suicide, forcing the girl to feel her own pleasure at the young woman's painful demise. From then on she focused her attentions on ensuring she would always have a steady supply of 'toys' to play with.
She feigned an interest in politics, fashion, business. Whatever would open doors and bring in the wealth that allowed her maintain her lifestyle and anonymity. Plucking board room secrets from the minds of drunken CEOs, rifling military data from Generals she hobnobbed with at political functions, pushing wealthy aristocrats into funneling money into ventures she had a vested interest in. She amassed wealth and power without anyone realizing she was doing it. She was invisible to paparazzi. Unknown to the tabloids. Hidden from the hatred the masses directed toward the so called 1%.
During a charity function she stumbled across the mind of a renowned mafia hit-man. Intrigued she seduced him and spent several days rifling through his memories and knowledge, absorbing every tidbit he knew about the business of killing for pleasure and profit. By the time she was done with him the once formidable killer was a gibbering mess, left locked in an abandoned warehouse basement until he finally withered and died. Armed with a lifetime's worth of knowledge, she crafted herself the persona of 'Psyanide' and began networking to start her career as one of the world's most premier assassins.
She does not have any 'friends' though she has a wide entourage of people from all walks of life which she has enthralled to her whims who believe she cares about them. She is incapable of romantic relationships, but is a very sexual being taking several lovers male, female, and other. She uses them to feed her need to siphon mental, physical, and emotional pain..breaking them, and disposing of them when they are of no more use to her.
