Roxette Kasserine, the remarkable Rebound. Bouncing from obscurity into the Millennium City hero community, she's thrown herself into her work. For the most part cheerful and optimistic, this rubbergirl does her best to fight the good fight, staying flexible and rolling with the punches. Sometimes it's quite a stretch, but she doesn't let hard times bend her out of shape.

What's she like?

Roxette is the youngest of three siblings. She's had her powers since age six, and is well adjusted to them. She's outwardly confident and cheerful. She tends to give people the benefit of the doubt and will bend over backwards (Sometimes literally!) to give a hand to those in need. She enjoys hero work, and does it full time. She relies on reward money and government funding for registered heroes for her day to day expenses.

Flexibility is Key

So yeah, powers. The nuts and bolts. Roxette's body tissues are naturally *absurdly* flexible. Since her entry into hero-work exposure to magic forces, radiation, various chemicals, and other assorted hazards have accelerated and altered her original mutation so that her body composition has actually changed, becoming less like human tissue and more like actual rubber as time progresses.

So how does it actually work?

Simply put, Roxette can stretch. Though her limits are untested (Mostly due to laziness on her own part) She has shown the ablility to reach nearly ten feet and still maintain muscular control of the reach-ing limb. She can stretch in any direction and with a little effort actually reshape her hands, though this tends to cause cramps after a short time. In addition, she has an abnormal degree of conscious control over all her skeletal muscles and coordinated enough to keep track of what everything is doing.

But can she take a hit?

She can take ALL the hits. She is completely immune to physical attack in the sense that it isn't possible to actually damage her body by hitting, stabbing, crushing, or shooting her. That said, a soft skull isn't very protective and she still needs to breathe.

How far does it go?

Her entire body is elastic. Skin, flesh, bones, teeth, hair, and nails. Her actual limits are untested but stretching past a certain point causes her severe pain and can temporarily put her out of a fight.
