Background and Origin

OVERVIEW

The Western Hero design.
Born into a family of rich businessmen in Tokyo, Japan, Hiro Takeshi grew up in the high society side of life. Despite this, unlike his father he attained a sympathetic view towards the less fortunate masses. Although he grew up in a sheltered life, he made efforts to become street wise and handle all corners of average life. He was a genius from a very young age, obtaining multiple degrees at the age of 13. At 30, after his father's untimely death, he took over Takeshi Tech Limited. He spent years of his life developing his very own power armour technology, focusing on civilian medical capabilities but building his own combat oriented suit, for super-heroic purposes. He even moved to America and ran the company from the US branch. He partnered with famous businessman Dominic Hines in the process. At the age of 35, he finalised the first version of his own power armour, and began to patent bits and pieces of lower grade tech to other companies for public applications. Dominic, however, wanted to sell out the full armour to the military. Hiro did not believe in people like the US Army having full access to this kind of weaponry, and he also didn't want to become obsolete in his endeavour to become a super hero. At 37, when tensions reached a high point, the legal battle for the technology ensued. Hiro eventually won the battle, much to the chagrin of Dominic and the military. He began his superhero career at the height of the Qularr invasion. He bought a new penthouse in Millennium City, deciding to operate out of there as MC seemed to attract danger like nobodies business. He has upgraded his armour various times throughout the years, even giving it different visual designs, ranging from Anime to Western hero to Steampunk styles. After the court cases, it was impossible to entertain the thought of keeping a secret identity, so he is a very public hero. Dominic later came back with a vengeance and his own armour, becoming the supervillain and nemesis to Hiro, The Cobalt Hammer.

Paraphernalia

The new secondary shell.

His suit of Power Armour grants him drastically increased strength, and has a large variety of weapons built in. These include various types of lasers, missles and particle weapons as well as forcefields and other defensive capabilities. Unlike other power armoured heroes, he uses rocket boots for long jumps rather than long distance jet flight. He can't keep it in the air with the armours large weight. He just doesn't know how they do it. His most recent armour has an extra secondary shell he can fit the suit into for dire combat situations. That's right, his armour has armour.

Enemies

Whilst having the fortune of enraging various well known supervillains about the globe, his one true persistent nemesis is Dominic Hines, AKA The Cobalt Hammer. Dominic is a former business partner who tried to claim the Power Armour technology for his own selfish purposes. After losing the legal battle, he stole some designs from Hiro and built his own, much larger suit. With similar combat function to The Crimson Bolt, he can prove a tough enemy to bring down.
