To better understand the capabilities of certain characters; "Immortal" is a word meaning many things, this page will help sort it out.

Type One

This type of immortality states that the person who has it cannot be killed in any way. Usually the character is a god-like being or kept alive via magic or some other extraordinary means!

Type Two

A person with this type of immortality can live forever but can be killed by divine or magical weapons, or weapons made from certain materials. As long as someone can be killed by a special weapon e.g. silver they are classed as type two.

Type Three

This person can live forever (i.e. not age), but can be killed by standard means, including diseases or by mortal wounds. This would normally be considered for beings like Demons (as they are killable by normal means but can live forever).

Type Four

This person can live forever and can be killed by standard means, but returns to life afterwards automatically.
