It has been well known that there exist more universes than most anyone can count, to the common man this concept does not mean anything. Yet to the super powered community and specialized agencies this is the stuff of reality. The fact that these universes exist in and of itself is not the issue, the real issue rises from the fact nobody can predict just how different one world is from theirs. And so it came as quite a shock when the super villain Valerian Scarlet suddenly manifested out of thin air that everyone was on edge, mostly the PRIMUS personal at the base she manifested in first. Turns out she isn't who everyone thought she was, Vanity Scarlet that is her actual name. As it turns out she is from one of these many parallel universes and all she has told about it don't make it seem like it's around anymore.
As far as appearance goes Vanity seems to have the same finger print, voice, face even hair color are the same. But they differ greatly in terms of body and ability. Vanity her body is much more durable and strong than that of Valerian, a result of her undertaking a magical ritual to imbue her with a superior body to handle more powerful magic. Another difference is the fact Vanity her costume is an actual magical artifact, although an enhanced one. Known as the Cloak of the Fallen this item once began as merely an actual cloak that granted its user ancient knowledge of spells and the arcane. Via another powerful ritual that involved her trapping a large host of nephilim and destroying them down to their magical energy. Now their essence imbues the cloak turning it into a full on costume as well as greatly increasing her magical powers, reserves and base abilities.
After numerous interviews, interrogations and long drawn out talks PRIMUS finally concluded their investigation into Vanity. They decided she is indeed nothing like this worlds Valerian Scarlet rather than being a villain she is a hero. An unwilling one at that but a hero none the less. PRIMUS thus decided to keep her on a short leash, she is tracked where ever she goes, and her activity is reported on daily. She is also at PRIMUS and the mystical community's service should they require it. Both her knowledge and power gained from the apocolyptic experience from her own universe have proven useful, PRIMUS also saw fit to record the happenings of this universe to provide further insight into Vanity.
When Vanity explained she had to undertake rituals to enhance herself in order to survive and fight back during the apocalypse it was never made clear just how extensive this was. By all accounts Vanity is a dead woman walking, kept alive only by her raw magical power, while it keeps her functioning it also means she cant be away from her costume for long periods of time. At best she can be out of it for two days, but even just removing it makes her incredibly weak. Attempts have been made to "cure" Vanity from all of this but they have failed, and so while she is free of the death of her world she now carries the sins and acts committed for survival with her at all times.
Powers, Skills, and Attributes
Powers
Magic - It is hard to put in words the sheer scope of magical powers she has access too, while having never received the full scope of training required to be considered a master level mage Vanity wields power equal to one if not greater. Her raw magical output is only limited by the sheer strain it puts on her body, were it not for the numerous rituals she has undertaken she would never be able to wield a fraction of it. If she were to use the full extend of it then it would only be brief, or risk destroying her or otherwise draining her of her magic and thus life.
Skills
Sorcery - Her skills at sorcery is not yet on par with master wizards and the like yet due to the sheer power she wields it compensates heavily
Dark magic - Learning the dark arts became quite needed in time, raising the dead or other dark magics combined with it.
Holy magic - If your character has no particular skills worth noting, feel free to follow the same directions as shown for the 'Powers' sub-header on how to remove this section.
Elemental magic - If your character has no particular skills worth noting, feel free to follow the same directions as shown for the 'Powers' sub-header on how to remove this section.
Attributes
Attribute 1 - Attributes are physical or mental traits, separate from powers in most cases, though possibly enhanced by them.
Attribute 2 - Attributes can be things such as flexibility, or being naturally acrobatic, or good eye-hand coordination perhaps.
Attribute 3 - Again, like the last two, if you have no use for it, delete this section. You can also ALTER the section if there is something missing that you would find more fitting.
Gear and Equipment
Gear
Weapon - Gear and equipment are the things your character carries around and uses. These can be things like weapons and armor.
Armor - Feel free to use this section to name and describe the gear that your character uses, if any. Be, again, as lengthy as you like.
Gadget - If this section does not apply to your character, feel free to delete it. Also feel free to add more sub-headers as they apply, such as for a vehicle, perhaps, and that vehicle's statistics.
Relationships
Lover
This section is specifically for a spouse, lover, or some other form of paramour. Feel free to use any of the formatting from 'Friends/Allies' below.
Friends/Allies
Put any friends or allies your character may have in here. You may give them descriptions or simply list them. To make a numbered list, simply place a # at the beginning of each new line:
