History
The Change
Lazzaro Stoker had a painfully mundane life for the longest time. He woke up to both parents every morning, had a nice breakfast, and went to a regular school. He read comics. Watched what was probably admittedly too much anime on the internet. Never really ate right. Didn't really try in school. All in all, he was pretty average. This changed one summer as he was getting ready to move on up to High-school. For an inexplicable reason he woke up one morning mutated and changed. No doctor ever found a reason as to why. The best any could guess was that he was always a mutant but the mutations never fully formed until then.
Practice Makes Perfect
Between Ravenswood's investigative abilities, and the obvious mutations White-Wing had, finding him was a cinch. He wasn't even half way through his freshman year of high school before they found him. Here he learned exactly what he could do. Exactly how he could do it. And how hard he could push himself. The fact that he had a high school education that would normally cost nearly 30 grand a year for free was just an added bonus.
Issue #1
He started with months of solo work, hitting the streets. He may have had dreams of grandeur, taking down super villains and stopping master plans, but he was also practical. He knew everyone had to start somewhere and for him, that start would be the gangs and thugs of Westside. Then one day he took it a step up, attempting to stop a bank robbery and teaming up with The Adventurers. This fateful encounter led to his joining of the team and one step closer to his childhood goal. For better or for worse, who can say?
Powers
White-Wing possesses a variety of powers, all of which are based on his physical mutations.
Flight
Wing-based flight, White-Wing is able to fly at approximately 40 miles per hour through the use of his wings. Not only can he fly fast, he can turn on a moment's notice as well. Of all the powers he has, this is the one he's practiced and honed the most.
Echolocation
White-Wing's second most used power. He can create variety of sounds to create 3d maps of the area. They often start out well low enough (relatively speaking) for humans to hear but as he continues to vocalize they begin to exceed well past the average human's ability to hear. Not only this but his natural ability to hear is heightened.
Infrared Sense
As he would explain it, White-Wing can see the hot-spots in warm blooded creatures. Although see would only explain it very loosely. White-Wing has a natural sixth sense that allows him to inherently know where the blood veins are closest to the surface of the skin. This gives a natural, albeit unreliable, tracking ability.
Claws and Teeth
Although largely unused in any combat sense, White-Wing does sport a pair of fangs and clawed feet. The feet however are normally filed down to prevent accidents.
Personality
White-Wing is good-natured at heart. Growing up, he's always wanted to emulate the classical hero archetype from his comic books and has been taking full advantage of his situation to do just that. Moving across the country to pursue his dream has helped him break out from the introverted mold he had as a teenager, becoming more outspoken, light-hearted, jokester.
