A HISTORY OF HONEY-B: ZOMBEE

The Battle of Detroit was a hard battle,
the little girl known as the underage hero 'Honey-B' was out with the other support units to retrieve injured heroes,
moving them to the various hospitals that were still running.

On one run, as the sun was setting, there was a unpredicted attack.
An insectoid villain known as Killer Fly assaulted the girl,
injecting her with an unknown substance and leaving her for dead,
she was picked up by a fellow relief worker and taken off the battlefield.

Honey-B awoke a few day later, her head pounding, her hands shaking.
An urge flowing through her to go back to the battle, there was something there that she needed...
But she was not sure what.
Taking her leave through the window, the girl flew straight to where the fighting was strongest,
her head throbbing less the closer she came.

Standing amongst the corpses of her fallen allies, the girl was happy that her head no longer throbbed, it was all that was in her mind.
The larvae that was growing inside her burst from her tiny body,
tearing out of her flesh and slithering towards the fly creature that stared down at her.
Without a word, Killer Fly left her there, gasping in her last moments of life.

"N-no..." Made it out of her tiny mouth as a smaller larvae had just managed to escape her abdomen,
one that the fly creature had missed.
As the creature crawled further and further out of her body she felt her life slipping further and further away,
using common sense and survival instinct, Honey-B grabbed the maggot-like creature and held it inside her.

The girl was then known as Zombee, and had been wandering the world since that day,
the fly larvae trapped and unable to develop within her.
Wriggling and twisting, keeping her alive, always trying to escape.
She now has an intense hunger for meat to feed the creature inside her, her only course of survival.

POWERS AND ABILITIES

"When you go in search of honey you must expect to be stung by bees." -Joseph Joubert

WEAKNESSES

"That which is not good for the bee-hive cannot be good for the bees." -Marcus Aurelius

Smoke - Zombee/Honey-B and her bee friends don't deal too well with smoke, often trying to move away from it and avoid the situation.
Cold - Cold weather slows her down, extreme cold can put her into a sleep-like state. Bees regulate the temperature within their colonies endothermically, meaning individuals warm themselves, thus warming their hives. If the hive gets too warm, they fan their wings and bring water to the hives for cooling the combs.
Child Hero - Zombee/Honey-B is still a child, having been halted at ten, she has been stuck there for almost thirty years. As such she has a much harder time understanding complicated situations and adult scenarios. She is quite innocent and friendly, prioritizing saving someone rather than fighting any badguys around.
Parasite - As Zombee, she's reliant on the parasitic larvae inside her abdomen to function, if it is killed she ragdolls and finally dies.
