titch is really the embodiment of several different book characters: Quasi-Modo (Hunchback of Notre Dame) , Erik the Phantom (Phantom of the Opera), and Frankenstein's Monster. They each are outwardly ugly, grotesque, and have personal demons unique to each of them. I, @leroyswish, create Stitch to be the average teenage guy with unusual everyday problems. On top of that, his style of role-play is bizarre and has been noted as "overly descriptive". However, as you can probably already tell, this PRIMUS Database page is in desperate need of help. Please, leave a comment below with some advice, Out-of-Character or In-Character advice, all is appreciated. Also, if you'd like to make some art for Stitch, that is also appreciated. Enough of me just babbling on and on about pointless OOC, how about we get to the stuff you want! Remember, this is not perfect, and will probably forever remain a Work in Progress.

Stitch, like most other people in Millennium City, does not have the quality of "normality" that few possess. Stitch stands at a rather short height of five foot nine, and weighs roughly around 156 pounds. He's got stylishly messy dark brown hair, and more of a mocha than tan skin. He has light hazel eyes, and a strong jaw line that many believe to be a handsome quality. He has clean teeth, almost which form a perfectly straight smile. He is very fit and healthy, but on the slimmer side, unlike most of the other bruisers around the city. He has defined arms and chest, and has increased flexibility. However, Stitch also has a horrid left side of his face, covered with light green skin and poor stitching. He is also blind in his left eye, and replaced by a fake solid white eye.

Stitch is very warm and compassionate, always trying to be a people pleaser. He is often bouncing from good deed to good deed, and strives to bring a smile to friends and family. He likes to make others happy, often at his own expense. This is due largely to being what the media calls "a freak", and tries to distract people from his harsh appearance. He struggles with maintaining his friendly lifestyle while managing his own personal issues. He also tends to be curious about the world around him, and ends up in trouble daily, often having his friends bail him out of danger (and jail).

Stitch's fashion style is very minimal and grungy. He wears a regular solid black beanie, which covers most of his hair except for a few strands, and an occasional eye-patch while on duty. Stitch wears a matching black undershirt by itself, which many shrug off as being "ghetto", but Stitch doesn't care. He also wears dark, faded blue jeans sizes larger than appropriate, and a light brown belt with a dark grey buckle. It used to be bright silver, but things don't always stay perfect. He always wears his "lucky" red and black basketball shoes. Stitch claims he used the shoe laces to old his bag of clothes, like a tie, but the bag was eventually stolen by "Hobo Moe" in the park near Mind. Inc.

History

Makings of a Monster

Born to a Catholic Mexican mother and Christian Puerto Rican father in southern Arizona, Adrian was mostly raised by his aunt Teresa in Tucson, Arizona, while his father maintained the family and cash flow in Phoenix. Adrian had a hard time in school, being bullied and teased by the other students for his low intelligence. Stitch, in second grade, moved back to his family in Phoenix, but the situation only grew worse. His older brother, Cruz Riano continually picked on Adrian, pushing him into furniture, tripping him, and generally teasing him whenever he got the chance. This went on until Adrian entered 6th grade, by that time Cruz had been arrested for possession of Marijuana, which was the last time anyone had seen him.

Adrian was preparing to live with Aunt Teresa once more, but she died in a horrible car accident. Adrian was devastated, and to make things worse, his twin sister, Marisol, was missing somewhere in Tucson. Adrian and his friend Jeremiah both left Adrian's house on a late October night, packed their bags, and made the trip to the city. They made arrangements to stay with their friend, Mason Kenerly at his small apartment north of Tucson Mall. The two eleven year olds set out each and every night to find Marisol, but with no such luck. Eventually, the two got in an argument over how pointless and hopeless the whole ordeal was, and Jeremiah called his mom and explained everything. His mother picked them up and dropped Adrian back at his Phoenix home. Met with missed reactions, Adrian was never the same after that.

When Adrian entered High School, his parents sent him with his father, who everyone nicknamed "Sol", and the two lived in an up-and-coming city, the "city of tomorrow", Millennium City. Sol had just received a job as an electrician, and was sent to work in the City Center district. Adrian and his father still never got along, and when Adrian entered schooling at West Side High. There, he was still bullied for being "stupid", "retarded", or a "dumb@$$". He had poor grades, and his father, stressed from work mind you, took out his anger on young Adrian, beating him with whatever was nearby. Adrian, after joining up with the New Age Guardians, made the following statement in a shocking and personal interview.

"My dad used to hit me all the time. I don't think he liked it, but he still did. I always wondered if he loved me, hitting me like that. I had enough when he whipped me with a wet rope. God, that was a pain..."

Adrian, on December 14th, 2009, left his dad's house and went on the run. He believed he'd be doing his whole family a favor if he was out of there lives. He'd lost contact with Mason & Jeremiah both, and was out of money from his job at Darren's Pizza. He joined a small community of underground runaways, the Exiles, where he met his teammate who went by the name of Jessica, and his friend and future enemy Leech. Adrian traveled from city to city, getting into more trouble than the last. He finally ended back in Millennium City, where he caught news of his father's death, being shot by a Maniacs gang member.

Adrian returned with mixed feeling to the gleaming beacon of progress, Millennium City. Mason Kenerly has just started working with LEAF, and Jeremiah moved to Vibora Bay to take care of his bed-ridden mother. Adrian decided to roommate with Leech, who lived in West Side, specifically in Maniacs territory. Adrian and Leech lived quietly, not really speaking anymore since Leech had gone through "the mutation". Adrian, in the same New Age Guardians interview, added this to the matter:

"...looked like those weird aliens in Canada. He was all green and slimy, and he talked in this really low voice...sounded like someone was always, like, covering his mouth. He was never the same after that...we never got along"

Stitch decided that the best medicine would be to treat the Maniacs accordingly: the murder of the top lieutenants in the gang. He set his sights on two members: Rid Len and Zoe Loft. Adrian first set his sights on Rid Len, who was commonly seen at Leo's Bar in West Side. Adrian was willing to describe what went down.

"Oh, yeah...about that. Well, I heard from a friend of mine, Burt Jackson, that Len liked the whiskey at Leo's...so I made my first crowbar knife, which Jerry taught me how to make. It's based...Dogz Crowbar Knives. It was totally bad@$$. So, I walked from Leech's pad, and just kicked the door open. Nobody in the bar cared much. So, I called him out, but he was...passed out on a couch. I just did it...walked up to him and killed him...god, it still makes me feel so bad. I was hoping that it'd make me feel better, you know, about my dad..."

Adrian left Leo's bar with bloodied hands and a lot more "street-cred" after that day, and he decided that he needed some distractions. So, he went to the Fight Club, and blew off some steam. He wouldn't realize it, but it was there where he found the love of his life, Lavie. After doing some laps around the ring, and hitting the showers, Adrian prepared to find Zoe Loft. Adrian commented on his encounter with the Maniacs recruiting.

"...didn't go so well. Now Zoe, Zoe is a crazy b%*@$, I'll tell ya. I found her underground, in the sewers. She was doing some kind of 'pep rally' for these cons fresh outta jail...I ran up to her 'stage', and swung the crowbar at her. It hit her, but didn't kill. I remember a loud bang!, then I remember waking up in a dark warehouse place. I was confused, and real, real sore...this guy was standing over me..."

Stitch woke that night a changed man. He was only sixteen at the time, and he was now facing bizarre and nightmarish realities. He had failed, and he had a permanent scar to remember. His first reaction was to reach out, and choke the good "doctor". He strangled him with his powerful new arm muscles and firm hands. The room was abandoned, nobody around to hear the doctor's gasps for help. Adrian sat up, tossing the doctor aside, swinging his legs to the side of the bed, trembling in agony. His hands, his legs, were covered in blood. He wasn't sure if it was his own. Adrian was gone, his humanity lost. He did the first thing he thought to do: run. So he did, he ran from West Side to Downtown, where Mason Kenerly had an upscale apartment. There, Adrian reunited with his childhood friend, and was cleaned, fed, and clothed. Adrian has gotten into crazier things in life, but this is the story that started it all.

New Age Guardians

Stitch, as he goes by publically, was called by his old friend Nomad, formerly Mason Kenerly, for a "Special Project", sponsored by LEAF, the Logistics Emergency Relief Foundation. As the spear head group, the New Age Guardians would represent all that LEAF represents: compassion, unity, and teamwork. Because of Nomad's usual "whimsy", he decided that young and unexperienced heroes would better show how those traits really work. Stitch had this to say.

Stitch's new costume.png

"I was, of course, reluctant, to say the least. There's no way I would have said yes, but when I saw her after years, how could I refuse?"

Stitch's field partner and co-founder was Jessica, from the exiles, whom Stitch met in Chicago. Now going by Amara to friends and American Titan to the public, Stitch and Titan instantly became good friends again. There mission now: recruit more of the young, new age of superheroes and rogues to join the cause.

Stitch & Rubikon

Rubikon, for some odd reason, feels Stitch is a valuable asset to his plans of domination. It is unclear why at this time.

June 27 Stitch was arrested for possession (Marijuana), and sentenced to 5 years in West Side Jail. However, with the help of Leech and reluctant Nomad, Stitch broke free during the massive jailbreak. Stitch decided that he needed to be more "careful" with his actions.

Frankenstein logo.png
July 1 Stitch's criminal record is pardoned by Nomad, a high-ranking UNTIL operative and founder of a LEAF Centre in Downtown, named "Manifest Destiny". Stitch then decides to forget the life of crime and reform as a young vigilante in West Side.

Frankenstein logo.png
July 7 Nomad goes missing, along with the submarine, the Aegir. Stitch believes Nomad to be alive somewhere. Stitch, with the help of Leech, set off for Monster Island, sailing Nomad's old boat, the Pelican, and arrived later that night. They were both kidnapped by Manimals, but with the quick thinking of Leech, they both escaped captivity. They later found Nomad swept on the shore near the Qularr site, barely alive. They called the local PRIMUS camp, and medical attention was received by all three of them. However, Leech was arrested for a crime unknown to Stitch. Nomad survived, and Stitch was booked for the next flight back to Millennium City.

July 16 Stitch is called by Nomad to be the second member of the LEAF sponsored super team, the New Age Guardians. In the LEAF centre Downtown, Stitch met his old time friend and confidant American Titan. (See "New Age Guardians" above)

Frankenstein logo.png
July 18 Stitch and his partner American Titan both respond to a distress signal from SOCRATES. An unknown dire threat was hacking into the system, and the two were sent by Nomad to investigate. The duo fought well together, bouncing viruses and bytes between them. They helped Defender, Sapphire, and Ironclad delete malicious software, and ultimately defeated the villainous programs at the end of the coding. The felt weird being on such a small, digitized level. However, the two grew closer as future team leaders and as good friends, ending the encounter at Darren's Pizza.

Frankenstein logo.png
July 21 Stitch and American Titan receive Intel from Nomad that a young mutant is hiding in Downtown, Millennium City. American Titan flew above the roof tops searching, while Stitch wandered on ground level. However, Stitch was detected by a Destroid Trooper Bot, and a small squad of 6 chased him down. Knowing he was outnumbered, Stitch fled, and leaped down into a construction site. Stitch hid beneath a dump truck, and the robots surrounded him. Suddenly, the ground beneath all of them open up, swallowing the machines. Stitch has, indeed, tracked down the mutant. The young mutant Terrence Kotts, or Terry Kotta, is a young teenager struggling to control his clay-rock powers. Terry later joined the New Age Guardians.

Frankenstein logo.png
July 23 Stitch was sent to MERCY Hospital just outside Renaissance Center. While at Club Caprice, Stitch was jumped by a large brute claiming to be an enforcer for the New Purple Gang. Stitch was slammed into a sturdy wall, broke his nose, and was then cornered by the gangster. He was told: "...know you been talking to Murdock. Stay out of West Side!" Afterwards, the grunt snapped Stitch's finger's back, and broke his wrist. Stitch was treated for these injuries and was later discovered to have a punctured, collapsed lung.

Frankenstein logo.png
July 25 Stitch was in an odd predicament. The vigilante Anarchy lied dazed, unconscious in her automobile. Her fiancé, Divael, a robot fighter, and a bitter middle-aged cab driver all assembled to explore a large crater in the center of City Center, Stitch lying beneath Anarchy's vehicle. With the paramedics escorting Stitch and Anarchy out of the mess, the ground spewed a large burst of fire, and a loud zephyr blew into the area. Two creatures appeared, and after a battle, Stitch walked away, dazed, confused, and hungry for some cheesesteak. He still doesn't understand anything that had happened.

July 27 The New Age Guardians recruit another member, Ms. Victory to their roster. Sporting a similar theme to the leader, American Titan, Ms. Victory is a brilliant gadget hero with uncanny skill and teamwork. She makes a great addition to the roster.

Powers & Abilities

Near Immortality Stitch, after the experiment, evolved daily to reach slight indestructible. However, his body wasn't finished, and now has flawed immortality. He can be stabbed, shot, exploded, and crushed, but will eventually heal. He has powerful regenerative tissues and pain tolerance. He can heal small, minor wounds with little thought, but requires stronger focus for larger injuries, such as dismemberment, bullet wounds, and explosions.

Mutant Genes In addition to his implants, Stitch already has impressive regenerative ability. His mutant powers manifested when he was 14, the average age that mutant genes kick in, usually during puberty.

Personal Nerve Control Stitch, through the mastery of his own, unique form of combat (Frankenstein Combat), he has taught himself to dull pain, and increase it in other areas. He thus has much more endurance, stamina, and grater agility. He can jump higher, run faster, and hit harder. With this skill, he has received greater confidence in himself, and has earned "hardcore Parkour" mindset.

Tech Savvy Although Stitch has poor grades in school, he is quite good with welding and electronics, as well as time-space sciences. He interned wit Dr. Silverback during his sophomore year, and learned a lot about the world from the doctor, Juryrig, and Microman in their lab in Renaissance center. He custom builds most of his devices, including the ear piece that picks up several channels.

Street Smarts & Training Stitch grew up on the streets, and has done a lot of "odd jobs for family friends". He also received minor hand-to-hand combat training with Deadman Walkin' back when Stitch visited Jeremiah in Vibora Bay. Stitch and Deadman never talk anymore. Stitch also has criminal contacts in several gangs across the globe, including Leech, who leads the Exiles from city to city.

Child Prodigy Stitch has mastered piano, saxophone, and acoustic/electric guitar. He sings very well, and his jazz band "Seven2Heaven" plays at Vibora Bay Mall on weeknights. He was previously in a band named "The Two-Guns" with his friend Jeremiah but broke up when Jeremiah moved to Vibora. Stitch also has a natural fondness of musicals and opera. He is often seen at the Club Caprice lounge observing the artwork and the massive fountain.

Weaponry

Crowbar Knives Early on in life, Stitch fashioned these make shift weapons (shown left) to defend himself and to protect the streets of the innocent. His childhood friend Jeremiah lives in Vibora Bay, and sent Stitch "blueprints" to make the weapons. Describing the claws as being bad@$$, Stitch made them with parts lying around a nearby abandoned garage. He keeps extras hidden in dumpsters around the city.

Nightsticks When Stitch joined the New Age Guardians, he was ordered to scrap the killing tools and switch over to police issued nightsticks, to represent the law, order, and justice. Stitch claims: "...totally killed the whole vigilante vibe I had going..." However, Stitch ahs come to admire the new tools, especially the easy clean-up after beating up villains world-wide. He also appreciates other heroes who use baton-like weapons, such as the hero Sparrowhawk.

Frictionless Suit Stitch's lime-green and black tights are resistance to friction and most heat/electrical sources. He is able to run up walls, leap over rooftops, and slide under automobiles with ease. He had mixed feelings about the suit, but with the persuasion of Nomad and American Titan, he accepted it, and wears it on New Age Guardian missions.

Grappling Gun Stitch built a two small grappling hooks built into his black gloves. When he shoots the thin, spider-silk cables, he can pull him self up like a slingshot. He also uses them as tripwires and to tie up the bad guys. He also uses them as piercing weapons and the occasional whip.

Ear Piece Once stitch registered with ASPRA, he received an earpiece, which he later modified to pick up everything from trucker channels to police scanners, and even the Champion's alerts. When he speaks in it, he can translate his voice to French, Spanish, Cantonese, and even in Morse Code. Pretty cool, right?

Weaknesses

Adolescence Stitch may be a legal adult now, but that doesn't make him mature. He constantly loses focus in battle, distracted by anything from bizarre sounds to the curves of a female villain. He is flawed in more than one way, but being a teenager is a major one. He still doesn't fully understand the world around him, or how to be an "adult".

Telepathy Stitch may have superhuman strength, speed, and humor, but his mind is just a regular 18 year old guy's. He's has little defenses against mind readings, and the occasional mind wipe has defeated him in the past.

Enhanced Senses Stitch is vulnerable to loud noises, bright lights, and hot/cold materials. He has to wear gloves or wrappings to protect himself just for drinking water or eating food. He can only sleep in absolute darkness, otherwise he'll toss and turn in frustration.

People Pleaser Stitch naturally is a people pleaser, someone who can't say "no", and has a need to fix things. He'll often lose focus in a battle when someone is in danger, or fix his attention on the bad guy's broken space cannon. This has gotten him in trouble with the law once, and often results in probation, or most likely prison. He succumbs easily to peer pressure, so if you want somebody to do something for you, Stitch (unfortunately) is the man for you.

Friend or Foe

Allies: Conquer

Stitch has visited his friends at East Briar Institute occasionally, stirring up trouble for the usual gang. He isn't hated by anyone yet, so he considers them his allies. Stitch is seen in this picture "photo-bombing" two famous members of Conquer: Caliga & Kagewoe. Stitch was once temporarily the sidekick of AtlusBot, another member and teacher of East Briar Institute.

Stitch has recently broke apart from hanging around the campus, trying to meet new, more exotic people around the globe. He also reserves time to associate with his new team members.

Stitch is the second in command leader of the New Age Guardians and is also the head chef. He provides calm music for relaxation at their warehouse, which American Titan purchased. He makes the best cheesesteaks in all of City Center, to the approval and enjoyment of his teammates. Stitch loves his teammates, but often feels he's being held back from his true potential. He shouldn't have survived the "accident", and must have a greater purpose than leading a rag-tag group of teens. Stitch really has mixed feelings that he prefers to keep quiet.

Tropes for Stitch

Frankenstein logo.png
Changing Clothes Is a Free Action Stitch has a special device in his sagging, ripped jeans that will make his green hero suit reappear. In fact, his hero suit is always active over his civilian wear. Stitch, put simply, can instantly change his clothing before the bad guy's (and ladies') eyes.

Frankenstein logo.png
Unrequited Love Switcheroo Stitch appears outwardly ugly to the opposite sex. However, he has a certain charm that normal people don't seem to notice. However, when others like Stitch notice him more and he starts seeing them, others realize what a "quality" guy he can be.

Frankenstein logo.png
Apologetic Attacker Stitch never likes to hurt people. But some people just need to be shut up. Stitch utilizes his own brand of apologetic martial arts to combat evil one polite punch at a time.

Frankenstein logo.png
Age Appropriate Angst As a child, Stitch went through a lot more trauma then he allowed to be present. He often makes up stories about his life. Thu, because he is barely a legal adult, people feel sorrier for him if the same had happened to an adult.

Frankenstein logo.png
Bratty Half-Pint Stitch respects few people: Sterga, Anarchy, All-Star, Wavegirl, New Age Guardians, and Thundrax. With the rest, he could care less. He has a usual flavor with his attitude, mixing sarcasm with quick-draw wit. Watch out, because when he's mad, he'll let you know.

Frankenstein logo.png
Unusually Uninteresting Sight Stitch appears normal to most of the mutants living in the Millennium City underground. He is widely accepted by the general populace these days, especially with his brilliant "B+" acting in movies, his success as a singer, and as a generous giver to charities.

Frankenstein logo.png
Waistcoat of Style Stitch found movie star fame as the detective In "Under Bloodied Mask". Clearly a rising star, Stitch and his friend, Joseph Gordan Levitz went on a shopping spree, because two males shopping is clearly a sign of masculinity and swagger. Stitch's new wardrobe is clearly like that of Joseph's. They can both rock a vest, am I right?
